    Sudden shutdowns with a error message ,* STOP: 0x0000000A OXFFFFFFFF84OF604E,...


    My PC has been going through such break downs occasionally with this particular error message, If i restart PC, it will be error less for next couple of hours.. what is that problem , how to fix it?

    Hello,

    I am getting the message - "Task Host Window - Task Host is stopping background tasks" - I get error messages on shutdown in Windows 10 - PC will not shutdown unless I force it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?

    PC is Suffering Unexpected Shutdowns

    Most important detail to me would be whether these shutdowns are sudden, in which case it's likely a short or PSU issue (capacitor aging maybe?) or graceful windows style shutdowns, which suggests software interference.

    It could also be overheating components if it's a sudden shutdown. What are your thermals like?

    That is true - sometimes. But some shutdowns are so sudden, the OS does not have time to record the "halt" and toss up an error message.
