Windows 10: Sudden Slow Laptop, HELP!

So basically, I have a laptop that obviously runs with Windows and it seems to be kinda broken? Let me explain. It all started when I played a video game and suddenly my fps dropped to 1. I thought, okay, that's a lag spike, I'll wait but no, it wasn't. I waited and waited but it didn't fix. I then restarted my laptop and it seemed to he fine, but after a while of using it, it got slow again, but always so sudden? Sometimes when I restart it after that, it stays or randomly goes. I cannot play any games because after a minute or two it begins being slow and lagging again. I really don't know t

Sudden slow operation of laptop

i have a toshiba satellite u 500 1f5 laptop

since 2010

but now all of a sudden it started to go slow

at the beginning it was just a hang

then it was not shutting down And it hadbeen forcefully shutdown

now it takes so much time to open windows and every single app

my Ddrive is also not responding

Pls help me

 

Laptop sudden slow speed

Hello, I have already (kinda) completed the steps listed above.

For method 1, after running sfc /scannow, it says that it is unable to fix some of the corrupted files. I then ran DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, and I've ran the same steps twice, but it keeps getting stuck at 62.3% (both times).

For method 2, I have performed a clean boot, however, the performance of my laptop stays the same and the problem isn't resolved.

For method 3, I ran the RAM test till 90% (I had to go to sleep) but there isn't any problems found to that point.
