Windows 10: sudden strange behaviour of Windows 10 system - things stopped working

Hello. I had something weird happening, I'm curious if it happened to someone else too and if I should worry about it.
I was browsing and suddenly nothing loaded in the browser, first I thought I had my internet disconnected. I tried to restart my notebook, I started the process (it showed 'restarting' and the circle) but then nothing happened for minutes. So finally I held the power button to shut it down, but it didn't react to it either and I couldn't do anything for a while. Then finally I could turn it off and on again, and when it was done, my background turned black and the scrolling of the touchpad didn't work (otherwise it was fine). I restarted it again, and now the touchbad scrolling works too, but I still have the black background and I'm worried about what caused all of this. Anyone had the same experience before?

Windows 10 Keyboard and mouse suddenly stopped working.

Windows 10 - Keyboard and mouse all of sudden stopped working.

The same keyboard and mouse works on 2 other laptops.

What I have tried so far to fix.

• Tried a different wireless keyboard and mouse. - no luck.
• Ran the Troubleshooter - Hardware and Devices - It 'applied a fix' and rebooted. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled all the drivers under HID from device manager. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled all the USB drivers. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled the root hub. - still no luck.
• Tried System Restore to the previous date before the last windows update today. - still no luck

Only strange thing is after rebooting the same drivers that I deleted shows up on device manager

Any suggestions?

• Did you try to login to a different user account to check if it is the same?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
