Windows 10: Suddenly Cannot Switch to dGPU Laptop

I usually leave the laptop Asus Zephyrus G16 2023 on it's dGPU. But this morning, after startup, it completely froze when trying to switch to the Nvidia card. I had to force shut it down, and when it booted back up, it miraculously stayed on the integrated graphics.Later, I tried switching to the dGPU through the Nvidia Control Panel, but it completely froze for about 10 seconds, then stayed on the iGPU. Same thing the second attempt.I checked event viewer, and under windows logs --> application, I see the following:Application 'C:\Program Files x86\ASUS\ArmouryDevice\dll

It depends on the laptop and dGPU used. But most nVidia based solutions turn the dGPU almost completely off when it isn't in use, so the power draw would be effectively nothing.

I am interested in the power draw of the dGPU in laptops. iGPU is the primary GPU to which all monitors are connected and that makes me wonder what is the power draw of the dGPU with lowest clock profile when idling.

 

Best laptop under $800??

Well the last one I suggested seems to be the best for 650$
