Windows 10: Suddenly can't login to two websites using Edge or Chrome.

Suddenly, I can't login to two websites using Edge or Chrome on my computer. One site says unexpected error occurred when I enter the credentials and the other doesn't do anything. I can login using my husband's work laptop w/o issue. I've tried clearing cookies/cache on my laptop and for one of the sites, but nothing works. I can't help but think it's an issue w/an update that corrupted something that won't allow the sites to connect.

Family Safety Not Blocking Websites on Google Chrome

Family safety has suddenly stopped blocking any website on the blocked list when using Google Chrome. It still blocks them on Microsoft Edge but Edge additionally blocks Google websites such as Gmail and Google Docs even though they are on the allowed list.

I have tried removing and adding back the account but it did not help. Any advice on fixing this issue will be much appreciated.

 

Edge not working on spesific website

I suggested you to try resetting Edge and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
Refer the steps below to reset Edge.

Steps:-

• First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.
• After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
• Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
• Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like

• Browsing History
• Cookies and saved website data
• Cached data and file
• Download history
• Form data
• Password.

Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
• Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.
