Windows 10: Suddenly no connection through ethernet, "Unidentified network"

Hello everyone! So just recently I started experiencing a problem where I couldn't connect to the internet and when I would click on the little ethernet connection icon it would say "unidentified network". Upon trouble shooting it through windows' included troubleshooter, it came up with "troubleshooter cannot find the problem". So I began trying to figure out the problem myself.
Before I get too ahead of myself here are my system specs:
CPU: i7-2600 (non K)
GPU: EVGA GTX770 SC 2GB
MOBO: Dell Specific (XPS 8300)
RAM: 12 GB no name
BOOT Drive: Samsung Evo 850 500GB
Storage Drive: Seagate 500GB
OS: Windows 10
Before going further I'd like to point out that my rig is a frankenstein build beginning its life as a dell XPS 8300, thus I don't know the exact type of motherboard or RAM.
Anyway, I would consider myself normally pretty tech savvy, as I built my own rig and have done pretty much everything with it on my own. Here are all the fixes I've tried thus far (In no particular order) to no avail:

• Reboot
  
• Switching cables
  
• disabling/re enabling ethernet card (integrated to mobo)
  
• running windows troubleshooter
  
• changing drivers, whether updating and or downgrading
  
• disabling IPV6
  
• opening a CMD prompt as Admin and running the following:
  
  • netsh winsock reset
  • /flush dns
  • ip config
  • netsh int ip reset
  • netsh in ipv4 and ipv6 reset reset.log
• Boot into safe mode w/ networking, no change occurred
  
• Uninstalled my AV software (Symantec Endpoint Protection), no change

Along with doing all these changes I also had a university IT person show up to try and figure out the problem (PSU student *Biggrin) and the only thing he did differently was confirm the ethernet jack in the wall was still working. As well, the ethernet jack in my desktop is working due to the orange light flashing. As of now I am literally out of ideas, I don't know what else to do and you guys are my last hope before I choose the nuclear option and to a fresh boot of windows. Anyway, thank you for any suggestions! I'm open to pretty much anything.

No Network Access on Ethernet after recent Anniversary Update

My Wifi works fine, but when I connect an Ethernet cable and try to run internet connection through it, the Ethernet says "Unidentified Network/ No Network Access". This only became an issue after the Anniversary Update. How do I get Internet access for
Ethernet back?

 

Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration

Recently I have found myself unable to connect to the internet with an ethernet cable. The connection is an "Unidentified network" and the troubleshooter tells me "'Ethernet' doesn't have a valid IP configuration." I encountered this very problem a few
months ago with Windows 7, and upgrading to Windows 10 seemed to work after a couple of days.
