Windows 10: Suddenly one PC out of four can't connect to others, and others can't connect to it.

I have four PCs networked, 2 with Win 11 and 2 with Win 10.One is a defacto file server FS that the three others connect to shared drives. It's running Win 11. The two that can connect to it without a problem are Win 10 machines.The one that cannot, all of a sudden without explanation, is running win 11, I'll call it NewPC.I've gone through many many troubleshooting steps, and ended up doing a full reset supposedly using the settings app in Win 11.As of now, I can see FS from NewPC when I type in the machine name of FS, and I can see all the shared drive letters. But, I can only access one

Can´t connect to my Wifi network

Hi everyone,

I can´t connect to my Wifi from my desktop with Window 10. I had an ethernet cable before and it worked perfectly but now I can´t connect my computer to the router through the cable anymore.

For some reason it detects my wifi network but when i try to connect it says i cant connect.

I followed a few tutorials online of how to fix it and still didn´t work.

any help please???

Limited Connection (can't connect wirelessly)

It is a problem with AT&T routers. Just go get a 3rd party router, put the router in the DMZ on the AT&T router and connect all your devices to the 3rd party router. AT&T doesn't do anything to prevent this, nor do they care.

That doesn't make any sense, they provide you a router specifically so you can connect multiple computers to the internet...

 

Laptopc can´t connect to TV

Hi,

Please reply to the questions mentioned below in order to assist you in a better way.

• Are you connecting the PC and TV using a HDMI cable?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• First you need a video cable for making the physically connection. For better picture quality, you should connect the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via the DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.
• Open the "display settings" in your computer and activate output to the TV screen. You can either mirror content of your computer on the TV or extend the display just like a dual monitor screen.
• Pick up your TV remote and switch to "External Inputs" from the menu. You will need to change the default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "Video 2" depending on how you have made the connection.

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer as sometimes it may fail to recognize external display.

You may also need to change the screen resolution of your TV using the Display settings in your Control Panel else the picture may appear distorted.

Please revert if you face any issues with PC not connecting to TV.
