Suddenly programs take long time to startup on system SSD

    Hi,

Since I installed my SSD 3 years ago, everything worked fine and smooth, but few days ago, my programs which are installed on SSD for example: Opera, Chrome, foobar2000, Firefox, Microsoft Edge started to load for longer than usual. Normally foobar2000 would startup within 1 second, and now it takes more than 10 seconds, same goes for browsers, and other programs.

I have tried to find solutions or similiar topics with no luck, although I was able to fix it temporarily after I did system restore, but it was fine for few days, and today the problem is back again. One more strange thing about it, is that when the system starts, everything works as it used to before, everything works fast and is responsive, but after about a minute it's back to "slow-mode".

    Things I've tried:

    -SFC

    -DISM

What else can I do to try to identify what's causing this?

    :)

  2. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

It take long time to start and open the any program

    Hi,

Based on the information you have provided on your post, we may need to do further investigation. To better assist you, please provide the following:

    • Were there any changes made to the system prior to the issue?
    • Is this happening on a specific browser? If so, have you tried using other browsers?

We suggest performing a clean boot. There might be startup services or programs that could be interfering with the browser activity. For steps on how to perform a clean boot, click

Do let us know how it goes.
