    Suddenly unable to set monitor to anything other than 60hz in windows


    So all of a sudden I noticed tearing in a game at around 100fps when it should have been dealt with by freesync. Then looked through computer and found that my refresh rate had suddenly become 60hz. I am on a 144hz monitor connected via display port. When I go to advanced display options in the drop down there is only 60hz. When I open adaptor properties under "monitor" same thing. If i go to list all modes I can see one 144 hz mode which works but it's 1920x820. My monitor is 3440x1440. Cannot understand what has changed. This monitor has worked fine at this refresh rate for months and I have

    My 144hz monitor is stuck at 60hz.

    I have a BenQ XL2430T 1080p 144hz monitor but it's stuck at 60hz. I have an RTX 2060 and I'm using an HDMI 2.0 cable. Windows and Nvidia control panels only say 60hz, and there is no option to change the refresh rate in the monitor settings.

    Hi I have just noticed my monitor is set at 60hz is that what it should be. I noticed these settings in the Catalyst control centre should I be ticking any of these boxes, when I get monitors I just plug them in and leave them.
