So, I've been attempting to use an app and change profiles in it. Have attempted to do so twice, only to get a blue screen each time. I assume it may have something to to with everything having been automatically moved to OneDrive rather than remaining on my computer. Linked in this message will be the latest DMP file as well as system info. Get back to me when possible.Dump Folder

  2. **** SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

    Hello GiaccoGP,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Thank you for providing the error log. I analyzed this as a Windows kernel error by looking at the log file you shared. We've tried to replicate the issue here, but it doesn't seem to work the same as I understood his explanation of the problem, so this is very unusual and interesting for us, and we're happy to provide additional support to properly isolate what's actually causing the problem. We would like to share this concern with our internal team, but you may need to request all dump files to help us better understand what's really going on and provide additional help. So, provide all dump files of the issue and upload it to OneDrive or your preferred online storage and share the link here.

At the same time, try the steps below to see if it solves the problem.

    • Press the Windows and R keys on the keyboard at the same time and enter msconfig in the pop-up window.

    • Open System Configuration and select the General TAB - Boot with selection.

    • Deselect the boot option.

    • Go to the Services TAB - click Hide All Microsoft Services in the bottom left corner, then click Disable All.

    • Click OK and restart the computer. Be sure to select Hide all Microsoft services first and then disable all, otherwise unforeseen problems such as inability to access the system may occur.

    • Check whether the problem reappears.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem. If you need further information on this feature, please refer to this link How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Tell us the results and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Once the above questions are answered, we may recommend other troubleshooting steps.

We look forward to your response.

    Sincerely,

    | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    System Service Exception

    Hi Julian,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your PC after attempting to revert from Windows 11 to Windows 10. The "Service System Exception" error with the cause "ntfs.sys" indicates that there might be a problem with the NTFS file system driver.

Since you can't access the system now only the BIOS screen, the only way to fix this is to repair the system using Windows 10 installation media.

Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide - Microsoft Community

Your system should now boot into Windows 10 without the "Service System Exception" error. If the problem persists or you encounter other issues, it might be necessary to perform a clean installation of Windows 10. Be sure to back up any important files before proceeding with a clean install.

Remember that the steps provided here are based on the assumption that the NTFS.sys file is the root cause of the issue. If the problem persists after following these steps, it's possible that there could be other underlying hardware or software issues.

I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
