Windows 10: Suggestion to be able to duplicate a sticky note without having to open it, select all the...

I'd like to be able to right click in a sticky note currently only 'open' and 'delete' note options and have the option to duplicate the note in it's entirety.


I'd even be happy with an option to right click and have a 'copy note' option and then just paste into a new note instead of having to open, select all and paste.

Sticky Note Missing

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Let's see if with the following steps we can solve the problem:

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

2.- Follow the steps suggested by the Windows MVP in your article

Not able to open Sticky Notes

I have a custom based Windows 10 1703 image. I am not able to access Sticky Notes. It opens but sticks on task-bar like its hanged. Please help.

To further help you with your concern about the sticky note, we suggest using System File Checking in Windows 10. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Command Prompt (Admin)
• Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").
