Windows 10: support author2 & support Microsoft Store Account MSA as Offered as a Login Option to User

hi, If our software is downloaded from the Microsoft App Store, it is required to support Microsoft Store Account MSA as Offered as a Login Option to User, May I ask if this only requires support for Microsoft login to meet this requirement? I registered the app with Microsoft Entra ID and then implemented author2 login. Is this charged? Thank you very much for your reply

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Please answer the following questions to understand the situation better,

1. What kind of application did you try to download from the app store?

2. Which account are you currently using local account or Microsoft account?

Sign out from the current user account, restart the pc and login to the MSA to check if that helps,

I would suggest you to try creating a new user account
and check if issue persists.

Note: Install all the pending updates after logging in to Microsoft account and check.

I would also suggest you to login to the website Microsoft Account,

Open the browser and login to login.live.com and enter your Microsoft id and check.

If you are unable to login to the MSA web account then you may reset the password and check if that helps.

If your using Microsoft Account, I suggest you to reset the password from the below link.

I suggest you to perform Safe Mode with Networking and then try to change the password.

Method 1: Safe mode.

Please follow below steps:

    Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
    Shift key and click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Click on Troubleshoot.
    
  • 
    Click on Advanced options.
    
  • 
    Click on Startup Settings.
    
  • 
    Click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Login to Microsoft Account and create a new administrator account.
    

If you’re not able to login using Microsoft account then refer to below steps and check if it helps.

Method 2:
Activate Inbuilt Administrator Account.

Follow the below steps:

    Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
    Shift key and click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Click on Troubleshoot.
    
  • 
    Click on Advanced options.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt and enter following command.
    
    net user Administrator /active:yes
    

Now reboot your system and login to inbuilt admin account and try to reset password for other account. Once you reset password login to other account and to deactivate inbuilt admin account enter following command in elevated command prompt.

net user Administrator /active:no
