Windows 10: support in windows 10 for .flv files?

Discus and support support in windows 10 for .flv files? in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; Windows 7 and 8 I don't believe had native support for .flv video files, does windows 10 and if not what is the best way to achieve this?     my coreplayer 1.25 can not support the h264 flv!!! only can support h263!!

    H.264 FLV-what is it?

    FLV and H.264 are different container.

    Flashlite 3 and m.youtube in an N95 8GB was sufficient for me.

    I always thought the work around was to open them in Internet Explorer.

    I would agree. The OP asked for native support, so I went with an answer that didn't involve software. VLC would give a better playback experience, and you can't beat the price (free).

    This, I have used VLC player for all my media since Vista. I don't use any other player for video. It has never given me any problems no matter what file format I throw at it. Be it AVI, MPG, MP4, MKV, FLV, anything.

    And I'm old school, I still use WinAMP for all my music listening (I know there might be better programs out there) but I have been using WinAMP since XP and I prefer that as well for my sound system.

    Yes! It works great. But a 4K Movie with 40 min. running time is a very big file - 18GB!!!

    But... Internet Explorer won't play FLV natively. You still have to install Adobe Flash player. Unless it has changed since the last time I tried it, which has probably been a couple years, so it might have changed.

    I use the Ant.com Toolbar add-in for Firefox to download and play .flv files such as found on YouTube.
