    I'm not sure what the S-suffix is for... but only applies to Volume licences for Pro, yet there is an OEM version for Enterprise in addition to Volume (No retail for either.)

    Interesting to see the Mobile editions as well.

    It has not asked me for a key since my initial install. I just sign in with my MS Outlook account.

    It will not. I activated using my 8 Pro key out of curiosity. You don't have to until October.
