    Surface 3 Laptop Operating System Reinstall to New HDD


    How do I install Windows OS on a new hard drive for a MS Surface 3 Laptop? I purchased it from Best Buy who refuses to service it. They directed me back to MS. I have tried numerous methods from preinstalling windows onto the NVME drive prior to installing it. I also tried booting to a USB with MS Windows 10 setup. I have had no success despite explicitly following directions from MS. The original hard drive has failed. This is a new hard drive in the 1TB denomination from the same manufacturer as the original. Please help! Thanks. Semper Fidelis
