Windows 10: Surface 4 pro now showing win 10 pro evaluation copy

I never tried to upgrade my surface 4 pro windows 10 to windows 10 pro, but in the bottom right corner its showing that now.


Did the surface 4 pro come with windows 10 pro, or is something screwy going on with my windows insider? I am subscribed to the early adopter thing to keep my surface on the latest updates.


How do I get rid of that and just have the latest windows 10 home user updates?


(I recently had to do a hardware reset to fix a sd card read error from an update.... not sure if that caused the issue.)

That's a strange one Shawn....clicking on your link shows them listed on my reply post and that I had already installed them.

Why they should want reinstalling I have no idea.

 

Windows 10 PRO Evaluation copy

Hi,

there is no "evaluation copy of win 10 PRO". The single evaluation version of Windows 10 is Enterprise evaluation. What do you mean, illegally installed non-activated copy?

You may determine what edition you have a license for you may ask a hardware manufacturer - what edition was preinstalled.

I would also suggest you to install all Windows update and check.

Follow the steps:

3. Click on “Check for Updates”.

4. Read and accept the license terms, and then tap or click Finish if the update requires it.
