    Surface 7 pro -> update to 24H2 no question about Bitlocker but probably newly activated -> Then BIOS update -> PC blocked: WHERE IS THE NEWLY CREATED BITLOCKER KEY at least one info during installation would be necessary!!! and also automatic registration of the key in the microsoft account of the windows insider client. It's a shame and unworthy of microsoft!

    Windows 10 Pro transfer to new Surface 7 Pro

    I just purchased a Surface 7 Pro to upgrade from my Surface 3 with Windows 10 Pro. The Surface 7 Pro has the Windows 10 Home version that I would like to upgrade with Windows 10 Pro but don't know where to find my Product Key. I don't recall purchasing
    and I believe that my last Microsoft Windows update resulted in the Pro version being installed. Can anyone help with step-by-step instructions on where to find the product key so that I can copy and install in my Surface 7 Pro.

    Update process wasn't too bad. I had a different option for step 13 of "Steps to follow after the TPM firmware update."

    Instructions say to chose "Resume protection" but the only option I saw was "Turn on Bitlocker."
