    Surface Book with Windows 10 pro, OS build 19042.804, will not detect my USB connected...


    When the USB cable is plugged into camera/surface book, Device Manager does not show the camera/memory storage. I have a desktop which works fine, when connected the camera shows in Device Manager, under Portable Devices.

    I need to use tethering software, but cannot without the detection.

    I have tried SFC /scannow, windows update, without success.

    Is there an easy way to delete / update the mass storage driver concerned?
