Windows 10: Surface Laptop 3 Latency Issues

I recently bought a Surface Laptop 3 and shortly after getting it I noticed there were clicks and pops when listening to audio. I thought this was due to me using a Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen, but even when not having the audio interface connected I get the same behavior. I did some research online and some said to disable the WIFI adapter, which I did, but with no changes. I downloaded LatencyMon and this is what it shows

This is very frustrating as I just dropped $2800 on a laptop that does not function properly.

Surface Laptop 3 with external monitor

Hi All,

Has anyone come across an issue with an external monitor blacking out while connected to a Surface Laptop 3? I have the laptop connected to a widescreen laptop with the Surface Dock. Both work fine however, once every hour or so the external monitor blacks out and comes back.

I've completed the following:

• Updated laptop drivers and firmware
  • Updated monitor drivers
  • Swapped out monitor

Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

*Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

wifi issue on surface 3

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

• Are you facing this issue after the firmware update?
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

As you mentioned that you’re not able to connect to Wi-Fi not only the surface 3 as well as other devices, so issue may not be with your surface 3 it may be with your ISP.

I suggest you to check with your ISP provide.
