Windows 10: Surface Laptop 3, Windows 11 - Keyboard Issue Ctrl and F5 key not working

Hi My keyboard on Surface laptop 3 developed a glitch yesterday, where the left Ctrl key the only Ctrl key stopped working. Whenever I decide to press it, the backlight on Fn key also comes alight.I tried to use an online tool to check if the key works, and realized that Ctrl key doesn't register along with F5 key. In both cases, Fn key lights up.I am looking to resolve this at the earliest but not even sure if its a hardware or a software issue.

Is it possible for both CTRL key to malfunction at the same time even if i rarely use the right CTRL key compared to the left one?

Since your external keyboard and virtual keyboard working fine. We can conclude that your laptop keyboard is damaged(ctrl keys). The problem is not with the Windows updates or anything related to the OS. I suggest you to consult your laptop technician to repair/replace
the keyboard.
