    Hi,I have been a windows insider for several years and had both my pc and surface 1st generation laptop wee enrolled in the windows 11 developer.I now have an update waiting to install which will restore my surface laptop back to Windows 10. I checked Microsoft surface page which indicated that my laptop won't be updated to windows 11 as it is incompatible. Appears to be bit of conflict as it was running without any issues during the trial.Can anyone explain this please? Regards

    Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

    Hello Jimmy, surface laptop and windows 11 :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.
