Windows 10: Surface Laptop Studio Camera has stopped working

After the latest Edge/CoPilot Update my camera has stopped working. It will not start up with the Windows Hello Facial Recognition Sign In. Camera has stopped working completely on the Laptop Studio. This began after the latest Copilot update that allows access to recognize and read images or anything the camera sees. Not sure how to remove this feature or roll back the update that seems to have caused this problem.

Camera and microphone not working on Surface Laptop

The camera and microphone on my surface laptop have stopped working for all apps, including the "camera" app, zoom, Facebook messenger etc. Previously I had an issue with Facebook messenger where the solution was to disable the IR camera. I couldn't use
Face ID but at least chrome could use the camera!

Since then, and I assume since an update, the camera won't work for
any apps. I have allowed all the permissions, both in Windows settings and the apps settings. I have tried updating/uninstalling drivers and all the steps on this page: Camera doesn't work in Windows - Microsoft Support

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

Hello Jimmy,

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

*Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.
