Windows 10: Surface Laptop Studio lost display rotation and sensors like accelerometer.

Hi,My Surface Laptop Studio Business does not rotate its screen anymore, and also lost the Auto-Rotation icon/control in Windows 11 taskbar tray.When I run MS Sensor Explorer, it returns "Cannot find any sensors." message. It used to show all sorts of accelerometer values, previously.I downloaded and installed the driver package from MS, which made no difference other than rolling back some drivers to earlier versions, like the Intel GPU driver.Any suggestions/help is appreciated.Thanks,GT

E72 Accelerometer sensor for auto rotate and tap-for-time NOT

In actual fact nowhere I read about accelerometer or autorotate implementation in this phone. As far as I know there is just a tilting sensor capable of sensing if you revolve the phone from a back down to a "belly" down. position, that is far from being
neither an accelerometer, nor a device for auto rotating images.

If you use the Nokia Beta Labs Photo Browser utility, it can show and rotate the images if you change your E72's orientation. However, I didn't find it to rotate to be that useful (it always wants to display the images in the upright (portrait) position
when you turn the phone to the side.



I've been trying out the accelerometer feature of the E72 but can't seem to find apps that work properly for it (I've downloaded a Marble Maze game (I tried 2 versions, one is for 5800/N97 and the other for pre-5800/N97), but both versions don't seem to
work on the E72 (the game is supposed to guide the marble and should "fall down" when you turn/orient the E72's position. But it doesn't seem to work when I tried it.



I also downloaded the Python 1.9.7 and installed some Python-accelerometer apps called "CarMeter" (detects the angle) and "SlidersEdge", but can't seem to make them work either. (granted, I'm not sure if it was installed correctly, although I could run the
included Python scripts; but other than those, the accelerometer-based Python apps don't seem to work as intended).



So far, aside from the Nokia Beta Labs' Photo Browser, the only app that I had the accelerometer sensor work for E72 was a small utility called nAlertMe (the software will detect when the phone was moved, and sound an alarm. To deactivate the alarm, you
have to orient the phone in certain directions (eg. turn phone upside down, turn it to the right side, turn it to the left side) in a specified sequence. So far, this is the only app that I've tried on the E72 that makes use of the accelerometer correctly.



Would love to try other accelerometer-based simple games (there are a number listed in many symbian websites; but can't seem to get them to work on the E72) or how to get them to work on the E72...
