Windows 10: Surface Pro 11 Windows Colour Calibration tool has no effect on external display

Hello,I have just bought a Surface Pro 11 OLED. When i connect it to my TV, the grays are quite pink. This happened with my previous Surface Pro 4 and i resolved the issue by using the windows colour calibration tool. However on my surface pro 11, adjusting the sliders in the colour calibration tool has no effect. I have spent hours googling and trying to troubleshoot this issue. I am an administrator on this PC. I have the same issue colour calibration not working on several different external displays Samsung TV, Asus monitorI have the issue when connecting displays via HDMI or USB CI

Colour Calibration wont' save

I have a HP Pavilion 15 laptop running Windows 10 Pro (18362) and the screen colour is too blue/green for my preference. I've followed instructions to calibrate the screen and it won't save.

I go into COLOUR MANAGEMENT, click the ADVANCED tab, click CALIBRATE DISPLAY, follow the calibration options to set the colour, click NEXT to save and...it resets to the original settings.

If I go back to COLOUR MANAGEMENT and click RELOAD CURRENT CALIBRATIONS, it loads my settings however if I click CLOSE or click any other window, it reverts to the strong blue setting again. I can only see my colour calibration when I'm in the COLOUR MANAGEMENT
window.

I've tried calibrating the system defaults - same thing happens.

I've tried updating the drivers for the display (NVIDIA GeForce MX130 and Intel UHD Graphics 620) - but it's no help, still same problem.

Am I missing something here? Any advice?

I can't cope with this display - it's making the device unusable & a waste of ££

Color calibration not working - wacky display

I truly understand that you are having an issue with the display that color calibrations is not working . Let's work on this together for us to fix the issue.

Here are the steps that could possibly fix the issue.

Step 1: Update the graphics driver

• Right click start then click Device Manager
  
• Locate Display adapter then Double-click on the entry for your graphics card and switch to the Driver tab. Click on Update Driver
  
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
