Windows 10: Surface Pro 2 fails to install win 10 1903

I have a surface pro 2 running windows 10 Pro 1809. The 1903 update was offered and failed to install. I have done a clean install of 1809 and the problem still occurs. Any answers?

Pen softwear not installed on Surface Pro 2 after installing Windows 10

No problems with my Surface Pro 2 Pen after upgrade to Win 10.... However I did have a touch screen device driver fail on another tablet.

The Surface Pro should show in Device Manager as:



If the driver lists - it may be corrupted. Use Uninstall, remove drivers if prompted, then reboot the Surface.

If it does not list at all... maybe Trouble Shooting for hardware devices may fix it.

If you used the Windows Update from 8.1 to 10... look in the

C:\Windows.old\windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

folder for drivers that have been retained, but possibly not installed.

After installing windows 10 1903 Sage Report Designer fails to start

After installing windows 10 1903 Sage Report Designer fails to start. Yesterday there was no problem before the update.

Seems to be a rights issue:

DOESN'T WORK:

• logged in to Win 10 under my own account (with administrator rights)
• logged in to Win 10 under my own account and run Sage as an administrator

DOES WORK:

• logged in to Win 10 using the administrator account (that I had to activate)

Is this a known issue for 1903? Will it be fixed?
