Windows 10: Surface Pro 3 with Windows 11 Insider Preview OS vs. Surface Pro 4 with W10 Pro that cannot...

I have a Surface Pro 3 with Windows Insider Preview OS and a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 Pro OS. The SP3 was able to download and operate Windows 11 Preview just fine and has already updated once as a new release came out. However, the SP4 cannot upgrade to Windows 11, giving me a notification that the processor does not meet the requirements for Windows 11. Why this glaring discrepancy?

That's a strange one Shawn....clicking on your link shows them listed on my reply post and that I had already installed them.

Why they should want reinstalling I have no idea.

The main causes observed so far are driver issues, so I suggest you to install and update all the drivers and see if it helps.

Download drivers and firmware for Surface

I would also suggest you to install all Windows update and check.

Follow the steps:

1. On the search bar type “Settings”.

2. Click on “Update and Security”.

3. Click on “Check for Updates”.

4. Read and accept the license terms, and then tap or click Finish if the update requires it.
