Windows 10: Surface Pro 4 after blue screen BitLocker fails to unlock with correct key

My Surface Pro 4 (up to date) started having blue screen with critical_processed_died.
Wanted to reset Windows but prompted for BitLocker Recovery, entered the correct key but it always says "Failed to unlock with this recovery key".
If i click "Skip this drive" and try resetting anyway, nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

BitLocker Network Unlock Surface Pro 4

Hi all

we have BitLocker with Network Unlock in Place. Everything is working fine (with Lenovo & Fujitsu devices).

We have Surface Pro 4 devices as well and unfortunately they're not working (same Setup, same Policies). When booting up, we have to enter the Bitlocker PIN.

Does anybody know what UEFI/BIOS Settings the Surface Pro 4 needs, to get the Network Unlock feature working?

What Windows 10 edition does your Surface Pro 4 on? Basically, Bitlocker is available on Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions. To learn more on how to enable Network Unlock in Windows 10, please check out this

BSOD on my surface pro 4

Impossible to start Windows 10 on the Surface anymore

The blue screen is asking me for the bitlocker key

I looked for and got my Bitlocker key from my Microsoft account corresponding exactly to my surface

But this key is not working: "this key is unable to unlock the system" ? It is said or something like that.

What and where is the correct key

What is the solution
