Windows 10: Surface Pro 4 cannot be recovered -- can only log into safe mode without networking

So, at some point I did something to my Surface Pro 4 and basically deleted all the system files. As a result, whenever I boot it, it gives me an error saying that I am "out of bitlocker recovery options" but invites me to enter my Windows Recovery Key, which I have and enter. It then, as I recall, shows the advanced login screen:1. Login with debugging.2. Login with Safe Mode.3. Login with Safe Mode with Networking.4. Login to the command line.etc.If I login to safe mode with networking, safe mode works but the networking doesn't. Moreover, if I try to load a restore point, it will restart an

• Did you get any error messages when signing in to your account?
• Have you made any significant changes prior to this issue?
• Have you tried to login using a different Microsoft account or local account on the computer?

Fingerprint reader missing from log-in screen on Surface Pro 4

I understand your concern about fingerprint reader on the your device, do le us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Have you made any changes to the device(Hardware/ Software) prior to this issue?
• Have you connected any other external devices to your Surface Pro 4?
• Are you using PIN on the logon screen to log-in to your device?

I suggest you to refer to the below post and check if your issue matches with the same. If so, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned by

No networking on safe mode?

Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10


Please perform the following steps:
1) Make a fresh boot into safe mode with networking
2) Do not logon
3) In the right lower corner click on the network icon
4) Select a Wifi network
5) Once connected to Wifi > logon to Windows
