    Surface Pro 4 constantly has Blue Screen error when USB storage device is plugged in


    Whenever a USB storage device is plugged into my Surface Pro 4, after a few minutes it ALWAYS crashes with a BSoD. The Error Code it gives is "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR"I have tried several different troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling a fresh image from Surface Recovery Image Download microsoft.comCHKDSKSFC/DISMWindows Memory DiagnosticReinstalling USB drivers from device managerUnable to find any crash dumps though, as there is neither a Minidumps folder or .DMP fileNot sure what I can even do to fix this

    Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

    Hello Jimmy, Surface Pro 4 constantly has Blue Screen error when USB storage device is plugged in :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.
