Windows 10: Surface Pro 4 | Windows hello stopped working. Hours of troubleshooting and at my wit's end.

After an update (post Feb 15, 2019) Windows Hello stopped working. I have read many articles but now, I don't seem to have an integrated Web Cam in my list on Device Manager. One article said to uninstall the Camera and scan for hardware changes, but now my camera is not working at all.


Three questions:


1. How to get my camera installed again?

2. How to get my integrated Webcam set up again?

3. How to get Windows Hello set up again?

Having said that, please provide the answers to the following for us to be able to learn more about your concern:

• Is your Windows 10 updated?
  
• Are your drivers up-to-date? If not, you can follow the steps found on this
  link on how to update your drivers in Windows 10.
  
• What were the changes made before the issue started?

Surface Pro 4 not working properly.

Thank you for the reply.

I suggest you follow the steps below to fix issues with audio and check if that helps

1. Right click on the
   speaker icon which is on the bottom right corner.
   
2. Select Sound option
   from the list.
   
3. Under Playback tab, Right click on
   speakers\headphones.
   
4. Select Advance option.
   
5. Under Advance tab, click on
   Restore Defaults.
