Windows 10: Surface pro 6 touch screen quits working until restart

Hello, I have this old surface pro 6 that I purchased around 2018-2019 and I have had this problem for about two years now. When I use the pen or touch screen it will work for a variation of 10-40 minutes and then will quit working and not recognize the pen or my finger. Once I restart the computer it will work fine. Years ago I tried to fix it and remember following a lot of the steps I found online however the last one was factory reset. Recently I have been able to finally factory reset my computer and that unfortunately didn't fix the problem. I remember being unable to find little informa

Surface Pro 6 pen and multi touch driver problem?

Refering to Surface Pro 6

Issue

When using Krita (drawing) and Journal and OneNote and other products intermittently Pen and multi-touch have been stopping. Bluetooth Devices shows the Pen remains connected. The top button shortcut works. Using the Surface Diagnostics Toolkit it shows that multi touch is faulty. I have found a discussion (Reddit - Dive into anything) that indicates this is related to the Intel Graphics UHD 620.

The current driver is identified as 27.20.100.8681 dated 05/09/2020

Looking at the support for dirvers etc. (Surface Pro 6 update history - Microsoft Support) it is not possible to identify which specific driver is provided as they appear to be grouped together.

I have updated etc via Windows update.

Questions

The latest download via the Intel Website indicates Version: 31.0.101.2115 Date: 12/29/2022.

1. Has anyone used this version on a similar SP 6 device?
   
2. What might be the problems?
   
3. Any other advice thoughts suggestions ?

Touch Screen problem with Surface Pro 3

See if it works in UEFI mode this could determine if it s hardware or windows issue

1. Select the Start button, and then select Power > Shut down.
2. When Surface is off, press and hold the volume up button and press the power button until a Microsoft or Surface logo appears onscreen.
3. Once you are in UEFI, touch your Surface screen and see if it responds normally. Try to navigate in UEFI by tapping various menu items. Then, depending on how your Surface responds to touch, follow one of these steps:
