    Surface Pro 6 - Windows 10 - Disabling Autocorrect and it does not have any effect.


    Hi all,


    I have turned off the autocorrect misspelled words in Settings.


    However, when I type, it still autocorrect my typing.

    This applies to both my type cover and virtual onscreen keyboard.


    Any idea how I should avoid this?

    Autocorrect in Win10... basically non-existent(?)

    Hi,

    Notepad is a simple text-editing program that allows minimal formatting and limited to simple text entry. Meanwhile, the autocorrect in Windows 10 can be enabled or disabled by following the steps below:

    • Type Devices in Cortana search and press Enter.
    • Click Typing beside the keyboard icon.
