    Surface Pro 7 Type cover not present in device manager


    Typecover used to be there in device manager hidden items but it is not there now.It doesn't work and I've tried a whole list of fixes to no avail.Lastly I tried a clean image of Windows 11 and all the updates. And the Surface Update.I wonder if the magnetic port is turned off.What is the device id of the magnetic port into which the type over fits?Can I view its on/off status somewhere?As Typecover is, according to the Surface DIagnostic Toolkit, a "Third Party device that is not supported", just WHO is the Third Party and do they supply drivers for it on their website?I think Microsoft hav
