Windows 10: Surface Pro 9 with Windows 11, Detaching Keyboard does not enable Tablet Mode

I would like to use the tablet capability of my Surface Pro 9 with Windows 11 pre-installed.When I detach the keyboard:it does not enable the touch keyboard;it does not auto-rotate when I flip the surface in portrait "A4" mode.I have checked the Settings for Touch Keyboard and set below.Everything seems in order but with the settings below and removing keyboard does not enable touch/tablet mode.

I think the best course of action is to stay on Windows 10 for now, unless there is a specific feature that you need that is only available on Windows 10. Microsoft's deprecation of Tablet Mode in Windows 11 makes no sense considering their own Surface hardware makes extensive use of the detachable keyboard or notebook/tablet duo configuration.

Yep. My understanding was upgrades are supposed to improve things. I bought the Surface Pro specifically for the tablet mode option. Now it's apparently gone, even with keyboard detached. How in the world does something like this happen?

There is no Tablet mode in Windows 11. When you detach the device from the keyboard and make it a Touch device, it would automatically readjust Settings and adapt to the same.
