    Surface Pro: Driver Issues, NO type of internet connect or even adapter will work. HELP!


    So I updated my laptop about a week ago, noticed some lagging but nothing completely major or bothersome. All of sudden I go to use my hotspot like I always do and absolutely no connection. At all. I take it to Best Buy because I’m not the best at technology after 3 hours of getting no where I’m recommended to some shop down the road and I’m told I need complete new software. I use this laptop for school it has everything I need and more. Im really trying to figure out if there’s a way to fix it myself and if anyone else is having this problem. How to solve it in a quick amount of time. Thank you!!

    Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter connection issues

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern, however I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows Logo + X.

    • Go to Device Manager on your Surface Pro 3.

    • Go to Display Adapters.

    • Search for Intel (HD) graphics driver.

    • Uninstall this graphics driver and reboot your Surface Pro 3.
    After reboot, an updated Intel (HD) graphics driver should be installed. And this driver might be capable to connect to Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter.
