    Surface Pro LOCKS UP when NOT CONNECTED TO WIFI!!! Please read carefully


    When I am on the road, using my surface pro with excel... every once is a while my computer will LOCK UP!This is often after it goes to sleep between entries... the tablet will not wake up. Not even if I hold the power button down for a while.It also happens sometimes when I go back to enter data in my spreadsheet.I AM SO FRUSTRATED. I have searched and search and all I get on the search is wifi not connecting. that is NOT the problem.The problem is I am not using a hot spot, there is NO internet. Why does my computer lock up? I have onedrive installed. It should be able to work withou

    How to connect my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 to my wifi.

    Hello! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community, not a Microsoft employee. Hope you are doing well!

    With regards to the connection of your device, have you tried connecting your Surface pro 3 to a different Wifi connection? You can try to do a hotspot using your mobile device and try to connect it there. This is to see whether the problem is specifically on your FX-2000 US-Cellular wifi router only or not.

    Additionally, you may check the Microsoft support page here for troubleshooting guide. This also helped me to troubleshoot connection issue on my device before:

    I would suggest to try this step by step. If there are still problems or error message, please let us know or if you can share a screenshot of the error. This would help us to further check it.
