Windows 10: Surface Pro stuck on restoring windows loop

Every time windows 10 tries to update itself on my surface pro i quickly turn off the device as i don't want the blasted update. It ruins functionality in my art programs and I just really don't like it at all.

However, this time after doing my semi usual routine of seeing it updating itself because i've left it alone for 10 minutes charging up and turning it off it has been stuck on restoring windows and I'm in need of some help.

I have tried the turning it on and off three times thing to no avail. I CAN'T f8 the damn thing because it doesn't have a keyboard.

all it has are the volume buttons and the off button and i'm scared it will be stuck like this permanently
It seems as though there are no fixes for this problem and i am reluctant to ask on here because most of the time it seems that more questions will be asked rather than the problem being solved.

I have been doing this since Autumn last year and it has been fine up until now. I don't know which version it is on and i can't find out.

I cannot reboot it at all I am simply just stuck with the restoring windows screen on loop.

I am on my holiday and i can't really enjoy it now because I'm worrying about my £700 tablet that i use everyday being ruined forever.

Can this be fixed by a computer repair shop? Unlike the majority of people with this problem i am actually willing to spend money to fix it so if anyone can let me know that it definitely can be fixed i can rest easy.

Windows stuck on previous restoring loop

When an update to a newer version of Windows 10 is not successfully installed the device will automatically rollback to the previous version. If the device is stuck in a loop of restoring the previous version of Windows, this could be caused by system files
that got corrupted. For us to resolve your concern, kindly answer the questions below:

• Were there any other changes made prior to the issue occurring?
• Were there any error messages that showed up when you saw the restore loop?
• What troubleshooting steps have you completed?

Thanks for pointing me at that but I'm afraid it didn't work - only got me back to the SURFACE UEFI screen.

I'm really struggling with this and may have to return the device. Pity, it's a replacement for my previous Surface 4 pro with which I was very happy (in fact typing this on it).
