Windows 10: Surface Pro syncing with Samsung 8 smart phone

I have just bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 2018 model.

Previously I had an HP laptop which would sync my Outlookt calendar and contacts to my Samsung S8 phone for using Samsung Smart Switch. I've also used Kies in the past but found Smart Switch.


I've tried downloading Smart switch for Windows 10 but keep getting the following error message below.


PLease can someone help me to be able to sync my outlook again - whether with Smart Switch or another app

Connecting Samsung Smart TV with Microsoft Surface Pro

Hi,

I am using mi Microsoft Surface Pro to connect to my Samsung Smart TV.

I changes source to Screen Mirroring on my Smart TV and clicked on connect on my Surface after which it displays my TV name.

When I click on the TV name, it shows connecting on both my TV and my Surface Pro but after some time it says "Couldn't Connect"

I use my TV to connect with my mobile phone with same option but its not working for Surface Pro.

How can I solve this issue ?

 

Outlook on phone not syncing with Surface Pro

I hope you're still following this thread, as you've helped me along through the process of diagnosing my problem. I am having problems syncing Outlook calendar events between my phone, desktop, and Surface Pro. With the same Microsoft account on all three
devices and Outlook 365 on my desktop and Surface Pro, these events occur:

• An appointment made on the Lumia 950 will sync to Outlook.com.
• The same appointment will sync to the Outlook app on the desktop and on the Surface Pro.
• The same appointment will sync to Outlook 365 on my Surface Pro.
• The same appointment will NOT sync to Outlook 365 on the desktop.
• An appointment made on Outlook 365 on the desktop will not sync to any other device/app.
• An appointment made on Outlook 365 on the Surface Pro will sync to everything but Outlook 365 on the desktop.

I think I have all of the permutations covered. I'm hoping the above information will help you help me to determine why I can't sync my Outlook 365 on my desktop to my phone, SP, the apps, and Outlook.com.

My suggestion is to use

OneNote with a notebook hosted on your FREE Skydrive storage. Super simple to setup, and both your surface and win phone will work great. By the way this is the default architecture for "My Rooms' in Win Phone. It posts a new notebook to your skydrive.
Then you can just go to your surface open up onenote and sync your notebooks with skydrive.
