    Surface Pro will not wake from sleep mode + BSOD


    I've experienced a recent problem twice now where my Surface Pro has gone to sleep and won't wake up. One of the instances ended with a BSOD. I'm looking for help to solve the source of the problem and for someone to help me evaluate the minidump from the BSOD. I did not get a chance to see the error on the blue screen it was up and gone too quickly.

    Waking surface pro from sleep

    Can someone show how to wake a Surface Pro with Window 10 installed from sleep to run a scheduled task? it seems like Connected Standby mode disables all desktop apps from waking it from a sleep mode. For instance, a task in the task scheduler to wake up is simply ignored until I manually wake it up.

    Upgraded to windows 10 two days ago and my Surface pro 2 continues to wake from sleep mode. The only work around is to change the settings to hibernate instead of sleep. Any ideas?
