Windows 10: Surface Studio Laptop clicks unfocused everything

    Surface Studio Laptop clicks unfocused everything


    Clicking on anything unfocused everything. I’m unable to interact with any windows or the taskbar. Hovering over items in the taskbar doesn’t show that they’re hovered over, almost like there’s an invisible mask over it and all my windows.For some reason, I’m still able to interact with my desktop, like opening a folder. However, clicking on the windows explorer that comes up just does the unfocus again.I am only able to navigate via touchscreen which is buggy and tabbing/arrow keys. The mousepad clicks behave the same as my mouse clicks.What can I do the fix this? I can’t get anything done

    Clicking on anything unfocused everything. I’m unable to interact with any windows or the taskbar. Hovering over items in the taskbar doesn’t show that they’re hovered over, almost like there’s an invisible mask over it and all my windows.

    For some reason, I’m still able to interact with my desktop, like opening a folder. However, clicking on the windows explorer that comes up just does the unfocus again.

    I am only able to navigate via touchscreen (which is buggy) and tabbing/arrow keys. The mousepad clicks behave the same as my mouse clicks.

    What can I do the fix this? I can’t get anything done I. The mean time and that’s a HUGE problem. Need this fixed asap.

    Pretty sure this isn’t a hardware issue given that it occurs with several different mice that work on other machines. Driver updates/rollbacks for the mouse, restarts, and hard resets does nothing to fix the problem.

    Just did update to the latest version of Windows 11 and that didn’t fix it.

    Update: seems like only one window will work normally with clicks. Not sure what causes the one window to work, but must be related to the issue.
