    Surface Windows Won't Boot


    Hi,


    My laptop is refusing to boot. Every time I try to restart it, the Surface logo flickers and then the screen turns black before going to the Surface UEFI screen. I have tried to force it into safemode and I have tried to recover it to a certain point, but it refuses to restart. I'm not sure what to do.

    Hello Jimmy, Surface Windows Won't Boot :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

    Surface Windows Won't Boot

    Sabertooth 990fx won't boot to windows logo, it shuts down

    to boot and enter bios and load windows, any todays PSU (with the correct plugs) will work, AFAIK

    to enter BIOS only low wattage is used.
    Then, during boot, the HDD and a bit later the videocard card start to demand juice, then the other devices and periphericals... so the total demand during boot up is incrementing step by step, that's why a failure halfway could indicate a PSU problem....
