  1. Suspicious "Norton" Notification

I have been having issues with my computer and because I believed it had malware so yesterday I reset it. I chose what I believed to be the most thorough reset I could remove everything > cloud download and I thought it went fine. I haven't downloaded anything or clicked any sketchy links since resetting it. But now I am getting a notification from Norton Security telling me to restart my computer... I DID NOT download Norton I don't believe it's associated with Windows in any way? How did it get here? Is this some malware in disguise? I typed 'norton' into my task bar and get no results

    :)

  2. (SOLVED/CLOSED)looking for help with Android phone CONSTANT wireless signal notification

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

  3. Norton Security not loading with Windows 10 - Why?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft community forums!

I would recommend you follow the below given steps and check if it fixes the issue.

I would suggest you to restart the Norton services from the services list, and set the Norton service to automatic.

Follow these steps to run Norton services:

    Method 1:

Follow these steps to run Norton services

    a. Press Windows key + R

    b. In the run windows, type services.msc

    c. It will open services windows

    d. select norton services from the list of services

    e. double click on it

    f. At the top of the window, Make sure the service status is started and startup type is
    automatic.

    g.Click apply and OK.

If this does not fix the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling Norton software and check if it helps.

If the above steps do not help , I would suggest you to contact Norton for further help.

    Let us know the status.

    suspicious login attempt

Where do I find the Consumer Complaint Form? The notification from Microsoft about a suspicious login attempt suggests that I fill out and submit same.
