Windows 10: Swapped motherboard and windows is deactivated

I changed my motherboard without taking notes of my windows key so now my windows appears as deactivated.I tried to access the troubleshoot but it only gives me errors of not reaching the servers, also, a button to try through microsoft account doesnt even appear.

Motherboard Upgraded: Windows wont activate.

Also, as I was following steps to move Windows from one motherboard to the other, I was told to "deactivate" Windows on my current device. After doing so, the device was no longer in my list of devices that were linked to my account. Could this have caused
Windows not to realize I

had any licence to begin with?

 

Windows 10 not activated after motherboard swap

Hi,

I've ran into interesting problem after swapping out my computer's motherboard. The old motherboard contained a windows 8.1 pro key in the bios and the computer was upgraded to window 10 pro. After I swapped out the motherboard, the old one was fried, and
put the new one in, I can't activate windows anymore.

The new motherboard contains a new windows 8.1 key but is there a way to activate it? Or do i simply have to reinstall windows 10?

Windows 10 MotherBoard swap - windows 10 no longer genunine

Hi,

So, after i swapped out my motherboard from a HP Memphis to a Asus motherboard at a computer store, after rebooting into the system windows has been deactivated and can no longer access my old windows key through the "I changed my hardware recently on this
device" option, as the old pc(with the old motherboard is not shown while the new desktop is shown and likely was identified as a local account. From this i can't actually access my old version of windows which i own genuinely.

I would like to get my hands back on my windows 10 key, which the product key is stored on this pc but doesn't register when entered in the product key option.
