Windows 10: Swapped RAM

Recently sent my laptop for windows upgrade. I used the laptop for a few days and noticed that applications are running a bit slower than I remembered, particularly when running games. I installed a game that required 8GB of RAM and I could never run it properly without it freezing and eventually crashing. That's odd to me because l've played games like Fallout 4 and Phasmophobia that require at least 8GB RAM before and it ran just fine.I checked system information and saw that the installed physical memory is 4GB. So I immediately googled my laptop's specs and it originally had 8GB one sti

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
