    Enable WordFlow in Classic Programs

I was rather excited to notice the new compact keyboard in Windows 10, and even more excited to realize that it had a WordFlow/Swipe trail!

But then I found that I couldn't get the WordFlow feature to work! I tried a number of different programs, with no luck.

Only when I happened to launch an App (in this case, Settings to see if I could fix something) did it start offering word choices, and responding to WordFlow input.

Is there any way to fix this? The only program that I use on a regular basis that I've gotten it to work in is the Office suite.

    Thanks for your help, y'all!

Windows 10 Mobile WordFlow doesn't work

I have tried soft reset, hard reset and factory reset and Windows 8 Wordflow was awesome and Windows 10 Wordflow is a huge step backwards. Please bring back the previous Wordflow.

WordFlow working in some windows but not others

I'm on a brand new SB2...well, one week old, with all updates. The first couple of days WordFlow worked fine, but then it wasn't working at all.

I read a post about the language setting so I added English (UK) and I saw it worked when I tried typing using WordFlow in the Search bar of the Settings window. I thought it was then working so I went to Chrome and tried but it still does the same thing-
the path of the word shows but no text is entered into the field. At the same time when saving a file, typing the filename using WordFlow works.

I don't think this is related but I also noticed the OneDrive icons on both the the Start Menu and File Explorer are gone...File Explorer shows a standard 'text' icon. It's been the same on my desktop for a few weeks. I tried reinstalling OneDrive on my
desktop but I don't know if it was resolved because after powering on it goes right to Automatic Repair and won't continue to Windows. Restore Points aren't working either.

It makes no sense to me. Below are the results of a quick run through of programs testing if WordFlow works, which maybe doesn't seem like a big deal but I have a spinal cord injury and my hands are affected, so without it i'm using one finger at a time...which
    is painfully slow.

***IF ANYONE FROM MICROSOFT SEES THIS PLEASE MAKE WORDLOW AVAILABLE ON A BIGGER KEYBOARD FOR THOSE OF US WITH DEXTERITY ISSUES. Either on an existing keyboard or an in between size...and if you would like input on a layout i'd
    be happy to help!
SCI alone accounts for +5 million people worldwide (+300 every minute), then there is arthritis and other issues, so there is definitely a need to add to Ease of Access for computer/laptop/tablet use.

    WordFlow

    Working-

    • Settings
    • File Explorer
    • Edge
    • FireFox
    • Notepad
    • Word
    • Sticky Notes

    Not Working-

    • Chrome
    • Opera
    • Evernote
    • Google Keep
Three of the programs it's not working in are the ones I use the most. Also, it works in the ABoards for Trello app but not the Trello app, which seems odd to me. Maybe it's how or the language they are written not recognizing WordFlow?

  2. Is there a way to disable swipe input of the default onscreen keyboard in Windows 11?

    in Windows 10 Gaming
Is there a way to disable swipe input of the default onscreen keyboard in Windows 11?: I would admit the swipe keyboard is really good on a small touchscreen, but if my screen is large, there is too much distance to swipe when typing, and it is very easy to mis-swipe if I want to just press down some keys. So is there a way for me to disable this function?...
