Windows 10: Switch between sound devices

Using windows 11, since that I have to open the sound settings to switch between my headset and my speakers. In windows 10 it was easy, just a click on the speakers symbol. I know it is hard to make windows easier to use, but why making it so complicated for users? It was way easier before. This really makes absolutely no sense.

4. Which audio device are you using?
   
5. Does the issue occur with all the audio devices connected to the PC or with any particular device?

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Switching sound between devices

Hi,

In order for you to use one audio device for all sounds including calls, you must set your audio device as the default communication device which in your case, is your headphones. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray, then click Playback devices.
• Right-click your headphones and select Set as default communication device.
• Click Apply, then OK to save the changes.
