Windows 10: Switch out of S mode is not working

When I go to the Microsoft Store and request to Switch out of S mode, it replies “Working on it....” but nothing ever happens. There’s no task bar, no message about % complete or estimated time left to run, not even a circling the drain icon! I’ve left it running up to 15 hours at a time with no results. Have I just flushed hundreds of dollars down the drain for a Microsoft system that will not let me run Zoom, which was the whol purpose of purchasing this computer? I’ve been trying for a week to get switched out of S mode.


I even tried the advice to use a UserAgent Switcher to try to run Zoom on a “Chrome” version of Microsoft Edge, but it sounds like the audio has been run through a helium filter.


Is there a secret to Switching out of S mode that I’m missing?

Airplane mode switch not working

Since the troubleshooting steps that were provided did not resolve the issue, we suggest switching on the Radio Management Service. To do that, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type services.msc, then hit Enter.
• Search for Radio Management Service.
  
• Right-click, then choose Start.

Note: Never ever set this service to "Disabled".

Get back to us if the steps won't work.

 

Switching out of S Mode

I am having trouble switching my laptop out of S Mode. I went through the steps that are listed, and the Windows Store is updated and it won't let me click Get when you go to the screen to switch out of S mode.
