    Switch to password instead of pin


    I want to change from using my pin for login on my computer to using my password. I have searched and followed the instructions in the various questions/ threads here but there is no password option in the sign in options tab and the remove pin button is grayed out so I can't click it.

    The first step you need to do is go to Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options, and then Add a new password. Once you have done that step, you can remove your PIN to use password to login instead of PIN. It requires you to set a password before switching or
    removing the PIN

    Windows 10 asking for login password even after upgrading the virus protection on the PC instead of PIN password. How to switch back to PIN password?

    I have been using a PIN since I installed windows 10. I recently upgraded my virus protection software and ever since it is asking for my password instead of my PIN. How do I switch back to my existing PIN instead of my password? I tried changing my PIN
    number and that didn't work. Always asks for password at sign in.
