Windows 10: Switch User accounts and switch user option not showing up.

Discus and support Switch User accounts and switch user option not showing up. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have 2 user accounts on the device.     I have 2 user accounts on the device. After the latest I suppose update, I can only login to the current account and can not find any option to switch to another. I checked the settings and it showed me that the other account is still available. I tried to create another user, repair window, every solution I found on this forum from two others who had the same problem, but in vain. I ran a system file check, said it found integrity violations; after that I chose to verify and repair the OS type twice; said did not find any integrity violations fixed at 1st attemp. But the option for other

    I recently added a new local administrator account on my laptop, and i've tried to switch users to the new account i just made and it wont let me switch. It doesn't list the other account when i try to switch users, and it doesnt show up on the lock screen
    like it normally would.

    Please share a few details:


    • What exactly happens when you try to switch users?

    • Do you receive any error message/code?

    • Did you make any changes to the computer prior to this issue?


    I suggest you to follow the below steps to Switch users.


    • Press Ctrl + Alt + Del key altogether.

    • Click on Switch User.

    • Select the user with which you want to login.


    If computer starts up with a user other than the one you want, login to that user account and switch user to the account that you need and check.

    I understand that you cannot see the switch user option after the upgrade I will make sure to help you with this issue.

    First I suggest you to reboot the system and check if see the switch user option.

    If you still don’t see the option then I would suggest you to perform the below step and check if you can see switch user option.

    On the login screen press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and check if you can see the switch user option.
