Windows 10: Switching back to integrated graphics.

I have an old laptop HP Pavilion g4, Windows 10 with an integrated graphics of Intel HD 3000. After installing windows I believe that it is the only graphics used by my laptop. Right after installation if I got to Device Manager I can see that there is an unrecognized device under display adapters. This unrecognized device then becomes AMD Radeon 7400M after what I believe a driver update. New features are added after this happens, for eg: two-finger scroll. But my boot time increases to a very long timea minute or two, even though I have an SSD. This was not the case before the AMD graphi

You've taken all the correct steps to ensure your laptop uses the better graphics hardware. Your computer will automatically switch between the two depending on its demand in order to save battery life.

Since you've chosen high performance in the AMD control panel, it'll be using the M340 chip most of the time, especially when an app or game is running. You don't need to worry about it switching back to integrated graphics and degrading performance.

As a result of the above, you'll still be able to see the integrated graphics chipset in Device Manager. This is normal and won't interfere with your M340 graphics.

How do i switch from dedicated GPU to integrated graphics?

I have a Intel Core i7-6700 @3.4GHz paired with a Geforce GTX 1060 3GB. Is there any way to switch to integrated Intel HD Graphics for testing purposes?
